Pierce Speaks Out on Con Ed’s Proposed Rate Hikes in Westchester

Public hearings have begun on Con Edison’s proposed rate hikes - 11.4% for electricity and 13.3% for gas - which could raise bills by up to $300/month.

Westchester County Legislator Erika Pierce voiced concern, saying people should be able to afford to live in the region and have control over their utility bills.

The state’s review will continue with more hearings in Westchester.
