Erika Pierce organizes Con Edison Rate Case Public Meeting which draws the Public and Con Ed Union President
County Legislator Erika Pierce, who hosted the event in her home district, spoke to Local 1-2 Union President Frank Morales after the public comment information session.
County Legislator Erika Pierce organized a public meeting at the Mt Kisco Library to hear comments and concerns about the proposed Con Edison rate hikes that will increase utility bills for customers an average of 11-13% depending on whether the customer receives electric or gas service (or both) from Con Ed.
Many other members of the Westchester County Board of Legislators were on the panel.
Erika commented:
"They were speaking about some of the specifics about some of those individual projects that were included in that rate case and so that was very new for us all to hear"
As News 12 has previously reported, there have been several meetings where ratepayers have spoken out against Con Ed's proposal.
